Breaking Change:

Please note that this release has a breaking change. An API Username, API Password and API Token need to be added in 'Custom Settings' after the package has been installed.

To do this:

  • From Setup, navigate to ‘Custom Settings’
  • Click on ‘General Settings’

*Click on ‘Manage’

  • Edit/Update the following fields:**API Username - The system administrator username
    • API Password - The system administrator password
    • API Token - To generate the API token, navigate to ‘Reset My Security Token’ from Setup. After completing this process you will receive an email with the new API token.

🌟 New Features:

Shorten Expressions

  • A new switch has been added to the document editor toolbar that shortens expression elements within the editor.

New PDF Engine

  • PDF downloads now use our new PDF API. This offers better support for custom document styles and more control over layout and formatting.

Release of 3B PDF Merge

  • PDF Merge allows admins to build document templates on top of a PDF. This is the first release of 3B PDF Merge, so bugs are expected.

Changes

Base64 Images

  • All images uploaded to the document editor are now stored in base64 format. This means any documents that are downloaded can be viewed offline.

🛠 Bug Fixes:

Invalid Preview Warnings

  • Fixed issue where preview modal would show invalid warnings.

Value Formatters

  • Value formatters are no longer evaluated twice. This would sometimes cause issues when formatting numbers.

User Input

  • Fixed bug where inline user elements would all jump to the same line when the document was downloaded.

Table Fix

  • Table contents are no longer compressed when downloaded as a PDF.

Template Styles

  • Fixed issue where custom template styles were encoded incorrectly.
