3B Docs was built with Version Control baked right in its core. Every time you save a document, we will create a snapshot of the entire document in that point in time. You can then use the Revision History side panel to review changes and rewind to a specific version.

Previewing Previous Versions

You can access the revision histories for a document by navigating to the "Preview" button in the editor. A side panel will open that will show you all previous revisions of the document with any reasons for the revision as the label of the actual revision record.

When you click on a previous version, the document will be rendered in read-only mode to prevent you from making any changes to an old version. If you want to adopt the selected version, just click on the button "Rewind"
